Seasons of Love

Having grown up in California, seasons were never really a part of my life. Of course I miss San Francisco with it’s morning fog, fresh Pacific air, and laid back lifestyle, but when it comes down to it I absolutely love seasons. I love that just a few months ago, I was sitting exactly where I am now, bundled up in a blanket, watching the snow fall from my window. And now, here I am, wearing a summery dress, looking out my open window to an endless bright blue sky.

While I wish I could say that I have a favorite season, I have to admit that I get equally excited for all of them. From dressing up for Halloween in the fall to getting into the Christmas spirit in the winter to filling my apartment with tulips in the spring to going to music festivals in the summer, I really just love every season. This weekend is supposed to be absolutely beautiful in NYC and I can’t wait to spend the majority of it outside. Between taking Finn to the dog park, drinking crisp cocktails outside, and busting out some of my favorite warm weather clothing, I can hardly contain my excitement.

Have a wonderful weekend!!

I’m the same way, originally from Sacramento and haven’t yet made up my mind whether to runaway to Seattle or back to the East Coast where I spent my childhood years.
