Spring 2010: ERIN WASSON x RVCA
So far my fashion week highlight was seeing Gang Gang Dance at the Erin Wasson x RVCA show. They were absolutely incredible.
Anyways, back to fashion..right?
I was pleasantly surprised by Erin’s collection. A muted palette of billowy tops and jackets hung beautifully on the models as they stomped down the runway to the bongo drums and twinkling piano of Gang Gang Dance. The whole collection had a very urban tribal vibe that was only that much more highlighted by the live music. It was truly spectacular.

Erin’s designs were all about the detailing. With tiny cut outs in places you wouldn’t expect, and ornaments of studs and sequins, she took basic clothing and added her own, how shall I say it…Wasson flare?

Did I mention the celebs in tow? Bruce Willis, Alexa Chung and Taylor Momsen! I had to sneak a few photos.
