3 Different Ways
One of my favorite things about my friends is that they’re all wildly different. From career choices to music preferences to personal style, each one of them is wonderfully unique.
Recently, Coach sent over three bags, which, like my friends, couldn’t be more different. An elegant and chic clutch reminds me of my food loving, business-driven friend Erin, who always manages to look polished even in leggings and an oversized sweater. The buttery soft, cherry red purse is as classic and tasteful as my science-loving friend Gillian who doesn’t even realize how fashionable she is. And lastly, the modern, structured black and blue satchel, which is edgy and creative like my hilarious friend Claire, who can’t leave the house without a good pair of sunglasses and something leopard.
I put each bag with an outfit of my own style, but I think I was channeling each of these friends when getting dressed. And while I wouldn’t mind hanging onto all of these purses, they’d also be the perfect Christmas surprise for my three friends. Santa, please take note.

Marni x H&M
I don’t normally post about things like this but when I heard that Marni was the next designer in line to collaborate with H&M my head practically spun off. I had a seriously hopeless love affair with Marni throughout high school and it was actually the first pair of designer shoes I purchased on my very own (see those suckers here).
While I’ve been excited about the past H&M collaborations (the Versace one was pretty epic), it’s only with the announcement of Marni that I’m actually considering camping out the night before the collection launches on March 8, 2012. I love the quirkiness of the brand mixed with feminine sophistication and can’t believe it can be at my fingertips at a much more affordable price! Check out this little sneaky peek of the upcoming collection and let me know what you thinky think think!
Perfectly Elevated
One of my favorite things about the holiday season is all the heels that I get to wear. A festive frock wouldn’t look right without a killer pair of heels to go with it. Just like an LBD, a pair of LBS’s (Little Black Stilettos) always do the trick but there’s something to be said for the more eccentric, eye-catching heel. Truth be told I find my walk and overall posture to be that much greater when I’m in love with the heels that I am wearing.
Building a shoe collection is something that will take a lifetime, but it’s never too late to start. So before I slip into my favorite pair of Marni heels for my friend’s Christmas party tonight I thought I’d share some lust-worthy shoes that easily take the lead as my most coveted shoe box.
marni wedges
One of my favorite blog sites Cupcakes and Cashmere just posted the cutest pair of marni wedges…I almost died.
