Holiday Gift Guide - Part One
My Mom has always said that nothing gives her greater joy than to shower the people she loves in gifts, and as a result, my brothers and I are the same way. Don’t get me wrong, I love getting gifts (who doesn’t?) but I also have so much fun shopping for other people. Would Gillian wear that blouse? Would Sevan like that bracelet? Does Erin have this cookbook? These are the things that run through my mind every time I go shopping.
For the first installment of my holiday gift guides I’ve pulled together a number of gifts that I wouldn’t mind giving or receiving this Christmas. After all, the best gifts are one’s you wouldn’t mind keeping for yourself.

Holiday Blowouts
Thanksgiving is practically a week away, I’ve booked my plane ticket back to San Francisco for Christmas, and I’ve got about five parties coming up in the next couple of weeks - suffice it to say, the holiday season is here!
Fa la la la la la la la la!
As with every holiday season (see here and here), I’m on the hunt for a few new festive dresses to make the coming month that much more exciting. While last year my picks were a bit more scattered, this year I’ve narrowed my party dress wishlist down to three categories/trends: bold patterns, updated LBDs, and sequins and embellishments. Now comes the even harder part of narrowing it down to just one or two pieces!
Which ones would you choose? (Keep in mind the Thanksgiving dress always needs a bit of room around the waist…)
- Tibi Rococo Print Dress - $462
- Betsey Johnson Envy the Heiress Dress - $398
- Edun Marble Silk Chiffon Dress - $500
- Marc by Marc Jacobs Panthera Shift Dress - $358
- Topshop Tinsel Fringe Dress - $120
- AllSaints Char Dress - $295
- Rebecca Taylor Lace Bustier - $425
- Vanessa Bruno Athé Black-Beaded Dress - $360

Louis Vuitton Pre-Fall 2010
I love what Marc Jacobs has done for the Louis Vuitton pre-fall 2010 collection. I can already imagine Blair Waldorf wearing these looks.
I was a little nervous about Marc designing for Louis Vuitton, mainly because his designs have such a uniquely “Marc” look to them. But he seemed to really respect and understand the look of Louis Vuitton and was able to create beautiful looks within that framework.
Here are some of my favorite looks!!
