Hi, my name is Sonia and I’m a Stud-a-holic.

No, not the studs with big muscles that stand outside Abercrombie posing with tourists (blech! I hate muscles), I mean the studs that are fastened on to those jaw dropping Balmain jackets, the studs that Sid Vicious was pretty much born wearing, the studs that I’m tempted to add to every single article of my clothing.

The truth of the matter is, I love studs, and I’ve loved them for a long time. In high school I rarely left the house without a disgusting amount of eyeliner either my black or white studded belt and in college a lot of my jewelry was made up of pyramid studded bracelets and pendents. Today, there isn’t a type of clothing in my closet that isn’t studded. Studded dresses, studded jackets, studded shoes (I just added to this with my recent Converse DIY), studded underwear…just kidding, I don’t have any of that.

If you look around you’d be surprised at how many things have studs: furniture, car interiors, even some dog collars have studs! For the record, I’m not trying to justify my addiction, I’m merely explaining how awesome studs are. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have a DIY studded leather jacket to attend to…
