I don’t normally wear purple; In fact I’d go so far as to say I’ve never bought anything purple. But when J Brand sent over these purple-people-eater cut-offs my opinion of the grape juice hue changed completely. It’s a perfect alternative to blue jeans and much to my surprise goes with an ton of different things! I went simple with this look because it’s bloody hot outside and a light airy sweater and not much else seemed to be the best choice for these high temps. And since I’m all about trying new things in this post, I decided to waste some time doodling on my photos for a change. Not sure how I feel about it, but I definitely had fun doing it!

Now excuse me while I go die in front of my air conditioner.

{ Anthropologie sweater, gifted J Brand shorts, gifted Nine West espadrilles, Urban Outfitters bag, thrifted sunglasses (also worn here), gifted LUXLA bracelet and Accessorize bangle, all other bracelets vintage }

    Love this! It looks like a Ke$ha music video brought into the real world. The LUXLA Gold Hex looks awesome with that distressed sweater, xoxo

    I love your blog! I discovered you on Glamour and I check your blog every day. :) I’m on the hunt for cheap, vintage-y bracelets (I don’t own any, can you believe that!??) but since I’m new to this whole fashion thing, I don’t know where to look. Any tips? I want something that’s going to last me a while and has character to it.
